Bruce Harmon
Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, Bruce graduated from UMass-Amherst with a degree in Computer Science. After spending the majority of their life and career in central Massachusetts, they relocated to North Conway, New Hampshire, in 2024.
Bruce brings a wealth of technical expertise from a 35-year career as a computer engineer in the Massachusetts high-tech sector. Working for a blend of established industry leaders and innovative startups, they specialized in developing software and complex products for large enterprise clients. Their extensive engineering background includes software development, writing design specifications, diagnostic creation, performance analysis, and system testing.
A dedicated advocate for the outdoors and conservation, [Name] has been a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) for more than three decades. Their leadership within the AMC spans over 10 years of active service, including roles as a trip leader, chapter executive committee member, and Chair of the Worcester Chapter from 1997 to 1999.
