Since its beginning in 1980, Tin Mountain Conservation Center has offered experiential environmental education.  This is evident throughout the school year with our in-school environmental education classes and the same is true for our winter and summer camp programs.

Every February, Tin Mountain Conservation Center offers  a very special winter vacation week camp for children in grades K-6.  Each day offers a special winter theme, all designed to have the campers outside, enjoying winter in new and different ways.  Campers enjoy snow painting in Winter Art, learn more about wildlife and their habits with Wildlife Tracking and test their skills in Winter Survival, where they build a shelter (if there's enough snow!), build a fire and more.

Stay tuned in January for announcements and sign up for Winter Camp.
