A Room Crafted with Local History
The centerpiece of our facility is the Great Room inside the Nature Learning Center—a true masterpiece of local craftsmanship.
Locally Sourced Timber: The room was crafted using wood from 22 different local tree species, cut and milled right on the Tin Mountain property or within 15 miles.
Historic Granite Fireplace: The stunning fireplace was built using granite sourced directly from our on-site 1880s quarry, which originally provided granite for the Boston Railroad from 1885–1887.
100% Sun-Powered: Sustainability is at the core of what we do. Our roof and field-mounted solar arrays generate 100% of the electricity needed to power and heat the Nature Learning Center.

Tent Space: Ample lawn space available for outdoor tents if your event requires extra room.
