Volunteer

Be a volunteer at Tin Mountain Conservation Center – there’s room for everyone! Your help as a volunteer is always appreciated - whether it’s once a month, once a week or when you have time. There’s plenty to do both inside and out so let us know your preference and we’ll find a place for you.

Getting started is easy! Simply fill out the form (below) to share your interest and availability with us and we’ll be in touch.

Volunteers are an important part of Tin Mountain. Volunteer committees help plan and orchestrate our special events including First Season Dinner and Auction, the Fryeburg Fair, and the Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb (MWARBH). Others help out on a regular basis to help keep the great room clean or the trails cleared.  Seasonal projects include stacking firewood or removing or installing (depends on the season!) screens on the windows.  And no matter the season, we can always use a hand addressing envelopes or helping with our photo library.  We often have volunteer opportunities that you can do at home, such as making phone calls, database updates, etc.

Please join us for one of our Volunteer Morning Coffee Breaks, at 9:00 am the first Monday of each month.  Here you’ll hear about projects and needs for help while enjoying coffee and coffee cake with like-minded individuals.
