Carol Costello
Carol Costello has lived in Madison part-time with her husband, Steve, since 2019. Their children and grandchildren love to come and visit in all seasons and especially enjoy their hikes around the Tin Mountain Conservation Center.
Carol retired from the field of education in 2024, where she served as a teacher and then administrator for thirty-three years. During that time, she promoted opportunities for students to embrace the outdoors in all its beauty and mysteries through science and the arts.
In her free time, Carol enjoys hiking, cycling, kayaking, boating, skiing, andsnowshoeing. In addition, she volunteers at Tin Mountain, the Madison Food Pantry and the Believe in Books Foundation. Carol is also a freelance writer for The Conway Daily Sun.
