Emma Polhemus
Emma joins Tin Mountain as a Stream Restoration Technician, eager to contribute to all stages of the ecological restoration process—from initial data collection to hands-on implementation. Her journey in aquatic ecology began during her undergraduate studies, where she researched phytoplankton in Vermont's lakes and ponds. Since then, Emma has dedicated her career to aquatic ecology and conservation across New England. She feels incredibly grateful to have worked in and experienced so many of the region's beautiful lakes, streams, and coastal environments. When she isn’t restoring local waterways, Emma enjoys making art and exploring the outdoors.
