Members Only Exploration of Redstone Quarry
As a thank you to all Tin Mountain members, membership coordinator Heather McKendry leads an exploration of the Redstone Quarry. This fascinating quarry was the most sophisticated stone cutting operation of the past century, and its 1 mile path through history traverses one of the best historic sites in New Hampshire. The geology, as well as the human use of our native NH granite, holds many wonders.
Wear sturdy shoes for an easy to moderate 2 hour leisurely walk. The program is limited to 10 participants.
