Artist Reception; Rachel Lamb
Tin Mountain is thrilled to welcome Rachel Lamb, an incredibly talented illustrator and passionate outdoors enthusiast, to Tin Mountain! Growing up in New Hampshire, Rachel spent much of her life exploring the White Mountains, fostering a deep connection to the natural world that has fueled her artistic journey since childhood.
Now a full-time mom with another little one on the way, Rachel has still managed to nearly hike all 48 of New Hampshire's 4,000-foot peaks! While her outdoor adventures may have naturally slowed with her children, her art remains her steadfast connection to nature.
Rachel's exhibit at Tin Mountain shines a spotlight on the incredible birds that call the White Mountains home, both year-round residents and wonderful migratory visitors. Driven by a desire to raise awareness about the rich diversity of our regional bird life, Rachel's work is a celebration, bringing these feathered friends into the light. The birds have brought her immense joy and inspiration over the years, and she hopes her captivating illustrations will share a bit of that wonder with you.
Lamb's works will be displayed at Tin Mountain's Nature Learning Center from June 28th to the end of August. Opening Reception to meet artist on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm - Everyone is welcome!
