The natural world is loaded with different textures to draw from: shiny, furry, dull, furrowed. Nature has it all. Some are easier than others to draw, some can be quite challenging.
Come and explore the property for these textures and to learn techniques for drawing them. We’ll discuss the fundamentals of values and mark-making followed by guided practice time. It's a super fun subject to work with, set in an engaging and informative workshop!
Graphite, pen, and watercolor will be demonstrated. Bring with you your favorite sketching tools. No prior drawing experience is necessary. Weather permitting, a portion of this class will be held outside, so please plan for the weather!
Program fee: $10/member and $20/non-member.
