In the fall of 2023, Joel Rhymer set out on a cross-continent drive from upstate NY, hoping to reach the isolated north coast of British Columbia where secretive white ‘Spirit Bears’ can be found during salmon spawning season. It became a once-in-a-lifetime journey of discovery.
